Imagining New Laws for the Coexistence of Humans and the Earth
The climate-ecological crisis raises fundamental questions about the legal order that has long separated humans from nature, and the globally expanding Rights of Nature movement seeks new responses to this challenge. This session introduces Earth jurisprudence oriented toward human-nature coexistence and explores the significance of ecological legal personhood proposed in Jeju.
